Megan Fox’s “Obscure Heart” Emerald Engagement Ring
Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox “drank each other’s blood” after officially becoming engaged
A year and a half after their whirlwind romance began, Machine Gun Kelly proposed to actress and model Megan Fox on Jan. 11.
Fox, 35, posted a video that shows MGK getting down on one knee under a large banyan tree. The singer and rapper said he chose the spot because that’s where the couple fell in love in July of 2020. According to Fox, when they sat under the branches that day the pair “asked for magic” and “were oblivious to the pain” the two would “face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.”
The couple’s PDA-packed relationship has been going strong since making it Instagram official.
Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, designed the emerald and diamond engagement ring with British jewelry designer Stephen Webster.
Kelly chose a pear-shaped emerald, which is Fox’s birthstone, and had it set next to a pear-shaped diamond to represent his birth month. Together the two create a heart shape.
The gems, the musician said, sit on top of “two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.”
Can we say stunning and symbolic?
The celebrity couple, known for their eccentric and uninhibited personalities, did not disappoint with their proposal.
After Fox “said yes,” she said they then “drank each other’s blood.”
Congrats on finding your soul mate, you two!
This will be MGK’s first marriage. He has a 12-year-old daughter, Casie. Fox, was married once before to actor Brian Austin Green, from 2010 to 2020. The couple shares three children together, 9-year-old Noah, 7-year-old Body and 5-year-old Journey.
