FAQs

Why should I get help writing my vows or speech?

Every couple has a love story, but not everyone can put it into words. Your vows should capture your love and journey. They should be felt by everyone in the room. If you’re a parent or part of the wedding party, your speech will be remembered by all. The worst feeling is being unprepared or falling flat.

On such an important day, take some pressure off of putting your thoughts on paper.

I feel comfortable writing my vows or speech — how else can you help?

If you don’t need help writing your vows or speech, we can help perfect your delivery, get you comfortable in front of a crowd & help get the words to flow naturally. Vows & Forever offers a coaching package. You will work directly on delivery, poise and timing with Vows & Forever Founder/Owner Maria Cid, an Emmy award winning journalist.

What’s Included?

Every package includes a video consultation. The first meeting involves telling your love/family story and is also an opportunity to highlight what you want conveyed in your vows or speech. Detailed notes are taken so that your story can come to life on paper. You may choose a package that includes a specific or an unlimited number of drafts. Once you approve your vows or speech, (depending on the package) we’ll make sure you’re familiar with the words and coach you on how to deliver them during one final video consultation.

How long does the process take?

The video consultation can take anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour. Vow writing can take up to two weeks. “Thank you,” wedding party and parent speeches can take up to one week. Times may vary. This is just an estimate. We recommend at least six weeks to work through drafts.

But does this mean I’m technically not writing my own vows?

No! Not everyone is a confident writer or public speaker. Remember, this is your love story and your words. Vows & Forever is here to help connect the dots and bring your story and emotions to life.

Do you only have clients in the United States?

Definitely not! Our work is done through video sessions and over the phone so we can help brides and grooms anywhere in the world! Look out for a toll free number coming soon. In the meantime, e-mail us.

Are there refunds?

Full payment is required to book services. Refunds are only granted if you cancel no later than 24 hours before the first video consultation. No refunds will be granted thereafter. Should you cancel or postpone your wedding anytime after the 24 hours before your first video consultation, your deposit and any payments made will be forfeited to Vows & Forever LLC. Payments can be used as a credit for future use within a year of the original booking date. Client agrees to forfeit 100% of any payments made if the credit remains unused within a year of the original booking date.

We want you walking away satisfied from start to finish, which is why we offer plans with unlimited drafts and a final video consultation. We also recommend an initial phone consultation to answer any questions before taking the plunge with Vows & Forever.

It is the client’s responsibility to schedule and attend all meetings, as well as reply to all correspondences during the writing process. V&F creates a timeline with your wedding day as the final deadline. Therefore, it is up to the client to ensure your vows or speech is completed and approved in a timely manner. No rush jobs will be accepted.
